We have an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor to join our Valuations team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious candidate to progress their career with the opportunity to pursue the APC pathway.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Undertake valuation instructions and inspections for all property sectors including investment, development land, office, logistics and retail for the purposes of secured lending, fund valuations, tax, and Part V.
- Contribute to the delivery of all projects to include inspections, surveys, researching, drafting reports and valuations, inputting comparable information into our database.
- Develop client relationships and seek to build on our client base.
- Proactively develop new business opportunities through contacts, relationships, and networking.
- Maintain and update RPS database, ensure timely responses and that all details are recorded accurately on the relevant system.
- Utilises all relevant technology systems provided, maintains up to date and accurate records, ensuring valuations are continually and appropriately recorded.
- Collaborate with the wider Commercial team, contributing to the delivery of the business plan, while supporting each other in the achievement of KPIs.
- Identify and act on referrals as they present themselves across Sherry Fitz Gerald Group.
- Live the Company Values in all dealings with colleagues and take responsibility for own development by undertaking activities to broaden experience and market knowledge, while also sharing your expertise and providing coaching and feedback to others.
Requirements:
- Must hold an SCSI accredited degree.
- 1- 2 years' previous valuations experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS packages. Knowledge of relevant IT packages such as Argus would be an advantage.
- Excellent reporting writing and numeracy skills.
- PSRA Licence
- Full clean driver licence
