Role: Test Manager
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Mode – Hybrid
Responsibility

Management of the testing lifecycle of applications across Uisce? ireann
Design and implementation of test strategies for various applications across Uisce? ireann
Design of test resource plans for various projects in line with the project timelines
Provides test estimates on various projects, including the ability to execute vision, goals and direction of a team
Develop, implement, maintain and maintenance of test strategies, processes standards and guidelines
Allocates and co-ordinates test schedules, work and resource plans, managing progress of all activities against the plan, managing own deliverables and that of others to meet delivery deadlines
Management of all risks associated with the testing and taking preventative action when any risks become unacceptable
Creates test procedures and user instructions to ensure a reusable process and tools approach
Defines and implements quality process improvements and metrics focused on defect prevention
Manage test deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
Ensure test environments are maintained, fit for purpose and available for numerous projects
Management and mentoring of testing team
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Experience/Skills

Demonstrable expertise as a Test Manager in a complex IT enterprise environment, preferably within a Utility Industry
In-depth knowledge and expertise of programme, project delivery methodologies and standards
Demonstrable expertise of test industry-standard methodologies, tools and environments
Proven track record of developing, championing and implementing new test strategies and processes, across various technologies
Demonstrable experience in defining and implementing test processes and test strategies across various technologies
Demonstrable experience in management and mentoring of testing staff
Excellent understanding of quality assurance processes, standards, methodologies, and tools with a hands-on approach
Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects
Proven experience in designing, building, and managing a Test Automation framework
Excellent understanding of testing processes, standards, methodologies, and tools
Extensive application, technology and domain knowledge and has recognised expertise in Test Management including participating in the identification of and planning for future resource needs
Demonstrable experience in providing technical management and being responsible for overall test plan design and processes and experience in quality assurance evaluation estimates on various projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organised with a strong attention to detail
