Trainee Parts Advisor

T.P. Waters Kildare is recruiting a Trainee Parts Advisor to join our busy and growing Parts Department. Working alongside the Parts Manager and the Service Department the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in the Motor Industry or similar. Full training will be provided.
About the role:
The Trainee Parts Advisor will form an integral part of the Parts and Service teams, delivering excellent service to both trade and public customers. Ensuring all customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that orders are processed on the same day. You will be required to complete all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner.

About the role:

Duties include:
- Assisting the Parts Manager with daily duties
- Ensuring all items are correctly located and stock control
- Receiving orders & ensuring returns are up to date
- Delivering and collecting parts from other dealerships and trade
- Answering calls from customers
- Greeting and dealing with customers at the Parts desk
- Providing excellent customer care
- Attending Training Courses
- Highly motivated and passionate individual striving to provide an exceptional service to customers.
- A good level of computer literacy and skills.
- Full Clean Irish Drivers Licence.
- To achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through effective job monitoring and communication with the customer.
- To adhere to dealership and manufacturer guidelines at all times
- To ensure a high standard of housekeeping and compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
- To actively contribute to departmental and inter-departmental team work and to be supportive of the overall dealership.
- To maintain a high standard of presentation at all times.
- Previous experience (min 2 years) gained in a similar role or in the Motor Industry.
- Possess excellent communication skills, and practical knowledge of computer systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You will be able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
