GPT is part of The Briggs Equipment Group, a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Due to growth within our Dublin depot, we currently have a new opportunity for a Workshop Mechanic to join our team.
In this role you will be:

• Carrying out services, inspections, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles at our Dublin branch.
• Working closely with Service Manager and all departments to maintain an efficient process.
• Identitying issues and providing excellent customer service.
• Examining vehicles and performing vehicle health checks determining any additional work is required.
• Diagnosing specific fault issues and actioning appropriately.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Fully qualified mechanic
• Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
• The ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Good communication skills
