Opportunity: Yard Operative
Contract: Permanent
Location: Ballymount, Dublin
Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week
The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across Ireland and UK.
Due to an internal promotion, we currently have a new opportunity for a Yard Operative to join our team in Ballymount supporting our warehouse team.
In this role you will be:

• Ensuring that equipment is stored and controlled onsite ensuring space onsite is maximised without compromising health and safety.
• Ensuring that all equipment due to leave site for hire are compliant/serviced clean both internally and externally prior to leaving/loading.
• Maintaining an organised, clean, and safe warehouse area
• Rotating the equipment onsite to ensure that equipment is not left idle for longs periods of time.
• Ensuring that equipment due to be delivered on behalf of Sales Dept are confirmed as being ready for delivery.
• Ensuring all equipment is booked in and out from of site on the Briggs system ensuring that relevant processes are adhered to, and relevant documents are complete.
• Completing visual inspection of return equipment to ensure that any damage is captured and invoiced swiftly.
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure that all equipment leaving site for hire has a Pre-Hire Inspection completed and tag applied to equipment.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Previous experience within Stores/Warehouse/Parts (however not essential)
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Manual Handling Cert and Forklift Licence an advantage (however not essential)
• Have a positive "can-do" attitude.
• Excellent IT and communication skills
