Galro (Ireland) Limited are specialist distributors in Window and Door Hardware and u PVC supplying products to the Window and Door making industry throughout the island of Ireland. With continual growth an exciting opportunity has arisen to join this successful fast paced company. An energetic Junior Warehouse / Yard Operative is required to help with the day to day general operational tasks within our warehouse and yard.
Day to Day Tasks
General Warehouse / Yard Duties include dealing with goods coming into and being sent out of the warehouse.
Daily tasks would include:

• Picking & Packing Orders
• Unloading / loading stillages and pallets
• Recoding stock levels
• Recording damaged and missing items
• Relocating stock and general inventory control
• Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed
• Full utilization of any technology aids that may be provided
• General Cleaning Duties and sweeping the floor
• Ensuring aisle's and general warehouse is clear of rubbish
• Recycling of cardboard
• Actively participate with all Health & Safety and Quality requirements relating to the warehouse.

Requirements

• The ability to work as part of a team is essential
• You should have excellent communication skills
• The successful candidate should also be able to work on your own initiative and have a “can-do” approach
• Be customer and target driven with the ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment
• Experience is not essential but is an advantage
• Forklift Licence is an advantage (but not essential)

This is a full time role and is an excellent opportunity for you to grow within this exciting company.
Hours for the role are: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
