Job Description:

We seek a talented Software & System Architect to spearhead Imperva's Application Security strategy. This role offers the opportunity to shape Imperva's vision and drive its growth in the cybersecurity sector. As an App Sec platform architect, you will lead the architecture vision and roadmap of the unified platform group of Imperva's products and create a state-of-the-art, distributed Saa S system with cutting-edge technologies that can adapt to changing requirements and serve different products at Imperva's portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural high-level design of Imperva's Application Security Products, focusing on the development of a modern shared platform Saa S services for all of Imperva's portfolio.
• Research and incorporate cutting-edge technologies into product development.
• Architect and develop complex, high-performance solutions, serving as a mentor and leader for engineering teams.
• Make technical decisions - infrastructure, frameworks, technologies
• Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to drive key design decisions and ensure alignment with engineering values.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance product performance, scalability, and stability.
• Understand Imperva's business value and translate it to architectural roadmap and backlog.
• Partner with product management to define requirements and shape product direction.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an architect/technical lead or R&D manager in cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong and proven experience in back-end technologies and domains:
  • Distributed architecture technologies - services, microservices frameworks – Java-based - Spring boot, Spring Cloud
  • Strong background and experience with Databases – RDBMS, Column based, document, warehouse & Big Data message brokers
  • Hands-on experience with developing and deploying cloud-native applications - AWS, On-prem deployments.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end solutions, encompassing stream and batch processing, networking, and cloud (AWS).
  • Experience with big data technologies - Spark, Parquets, Presto, DAG jobs

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, and experience as a matrix manager.
