About the role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Cobol Developer to join a leading global provider of Treasury products and services for banks.
As an experienced Software Developer, you will be working on different platforms, different technology, and different code languages in order to support our clients and other developers in our organization.
you will face challenges that will require you to troubleshoot and act actively and independently while having the support of other team members to overcome the challenges and improve our working environment and products.
You will play a crucial role in promoting innovation and progress in our organization, allowing us to give better support to our clients and other developers.

Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- At least three (3) years of experience in COBOL programming.
- Experience in transactional manager (CICS/Txseries/CICS-TX/Tuxedo), database (Oracle/DB2/etc.), MQ.
- Strong familiarity with Windows / AIX / Linux /Zos operating systems.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control, code reviews, and testing methodologies.
- Independent code and script writing skills.
- Financial market experience is a strong advantage.
- Working with an application server such as Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, and Tomcat is an advantage.
- Working with dockers and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Ability to outperform a global company, in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong work ethic, Proactive, Self-motivated, and Results-driven.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple running projects, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew- Must.
