We're looking for a Platform Data Engineer to join our team in Israel!
Requirements:
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design scalable solutions for our product's core pipelines.
- Refactor and optimize existing pipelines, taking ownership of this critical domain for scalability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data processing frameworks to enhance our flagship product's capabilities.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies for continuous enhancement of the data engineering ecosystem.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Flink).
- Proficiency in working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes (proficiency in designing, scheduling, and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
