Our Pay Pal, Venmo, and Xoom products also make it safer and simpler for friends and family to transfer funds to each other. We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is part of the Pay Pal ICE (Israel & CEE) Sales Department, Located in Tel Aviv, working alongside the Enterprise Sales Executives. You will create opportunities for the Enterprise Sales Executives by acquiring and qualifying leads through outbound calls and outreach. Meet our team: The Pay Pal ICE Enterprise Sales team focuses on engaging with new merchants to understand their needs and identify the right set of Pay Pal solutions available to them; creating new opportunities and bringing in revenue for Pay Pal. We are a talented team of dedicated experts, and we are based in our Pay Pal offices in Tel Aviv and Warsaw.

The BDR is a key position in the Enterprise Sales team, that will drive demand and create interest with the fast-growing startups and well-known brands in the region. It´s an excellent opportunity to learn about Pay Pal´s value proposition and an excellent position that will give the candidate a thorough understanding of Pay Pal´s products and vision in the region and a trampoline for future growth into the broader sales team.
Your day-to-day:
In your day-to-day role you will
- Secure new merchants via outbound calls through the alignment of their business needs to Pay Pal’s customized payment solutions
- Be able to source and qualify leads appointments for Sales Executives
- Serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to all merchants throughout the entire sales and onboarding process
- Learn and implement Pay Pal’s proven, structured sales process, ultimately resulting in an accurate product recommendation.
- Be Open to consistent, formal coaching from leadership, sales coaches, and peers.
- Have an aptitude to understand and articulate key business drivers and overcome merchant objections by effectively communication the Pay Pal value propositions.
- Maintain consistent high call quality as pre-determined by leadership and sales coaches
- Effectively communicate a high level of technical, e-commerce, and business acumen within and between teams
What do you need to bring:
- Bilingual (English) – Other European languishes is a plus.
- Must be quality and detail-oriented
- Experience with a CRM system preferred
- Strong working knowledge of the Internet, e-commerce, and Microsoft Office products
- Very strong communication skills to enable positive interaction with all levels/functions within the organization
- Competitive in nature with a strong passion for exceeding personal and professional goals
- Proven experience adapting and thriving in a constantly changing environment
- Positive, entrepreneurial attitude
