Advisory & Financing Solutions (A&FS) is the result of the merge between the former Advisory & Capital Markets (A&CM) and the former Specialised Lending (SL). A&FS provides access to market leading capital raising, advisory services and financing services, with a diversified product offering ranging from core banking relationship products to highly specialized and structured financing. Joining the A&FS CEE team provides an opportunity to work within a group that holds market-leading positions in its core markets: Italy, Germany, Austria, and Central Eastern Europe (CEE). As part of the team, you will collaborate closely with other investment banking departments, industry experts, and M&A teams to deliver comprehensive and value-driven transaction solutions to CEE clients.

What you'll be doing

Our dedicated team focuses on originating and executing transactions in the areas of M&A, ECM, DCM, and Financing Solutions. This internship, lasting six months, offers you the chance to gain technical and practical knowledge while supporting various teams. Your responsibilities will include:

- Prepare and contribute to pitch presentations
- Support strategic discussions with corporate clients
- Research and evaluate potential targets and investors
- Conduct company valuations and financial data analysis
- Gain exposure to various industrial sectors and their market dynamics
- Multitask across assignments and support administrative processes

What you'll need to succeed

- Outstanding academic performance in Business Studies or related fields, at an advanced stage, with a proven interest in corporate finance or investment banking
- Completed internship(s) at a prestigious national or international business
- Highly developed analytical and quantitative skills, along with the willingness and ability to learn quickly
- Proficiency in fundamental and market-oriented valuation methods (i.e. multiples, DCF)
- Excellent working knowledge of relevant IT systems (MS Office, Refinitiv, Bloomberg and Merger Market)
- Fluency in English (and Italian) is essential; proficiency in any CEE language (i.e. Polish, Bulgarian, Romanian, Croatian…) is highly valued
