Are you a final year student or a fresh Mechanical / Energy Engineering graduate with less than 1 year of experience? Your opportunity to supercharge your career is here at Vertiv! We're on the lookout for future innovators to join our R&D dynamic department in Tognana, Piove di Sacco (Italy).

What will you do in our team?

Manage the development of new R&D products in the data center cooling sector for high profile and well known global datacenter customers.
Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market-leading innovation.
Undertaking the direct responsibility of the selection and sizing of the main performing components and design layout for standard and special products.
Meet objectives of cost, quality time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.

What will make you successful?

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering.
Thermodynamics and refrigeration knowledge, HVAC design, Hydronic design, some 2D/3D CAD design.
Process Skills: Demonstrates structural process capabilities with focus on continuous improvements.
Communication: Demonstrates excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal)
Initiative: Works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new challenges.
Imagination/Problem Solving: able to asses’ problems, break them down into component issues and determine appropriate timely and cost effective solutions.
English – excellent level – written and spoken
Competences: result-oriented, team player, careful to details, flexible.
Strong PC skills in particularly on Microsoft Excel.
