DKW is currently looking for a Computer Systems Analyst to support our team. The individual hired for this position will provide support for our government customers located in Yokosuka, Japan.


Overview
The Computer Systems Analyst will be supporting Navy surface trainers such as Nav trainers, Fire Fighting trainers and some electronic classroom type of trainers as well.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze documentation to determine training system impact and to develop software changes on Navy surface trainers.
• Perform the work necessary to design, develop, document, test, integrate, and modify operating systems and application software for Navy surface trainers.
• Develop, create, troubleshoot, and modify specialized utility programs and applications in support of real-time systems.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage, work processes, and investigating problem areas.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

Experience Requirements:

• An active Secret Security Clearance or higher is required.
• Minimum of B.S./B.A. degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
• At least 4 years of experience in design, integration, and testing of systems.
Minimum of an IAT-I certification. If not held, certification must be obtained within six months of date of hire.

Operating systems will include Microsoft Windows, as well as various UNIX and Linux versions.
Programming languages may include Assembly, C, C++, Microsoft.Net (C#, Visual Basic), and Java.
