Incubation - Cross Border eCommerce

The Cross Border team at Shopee empowers sellers from all over the world to sell into the Southeast Asia and Taiwan region. The team helps sellers to market their products across the 7 markets and provide enabling services such as cross border logistics, operations, payments, product related services, overseas warehouse fulfillment and business intelligence. About the Team:
As a member of the Incubation team, you will contribute to generate new star sellers by growing/nurturing new brand/resellers from scratch, including educating Shopee's operational/commercial environment, driving traffic, accelerating conversion, collaborating with internal stakeholders, but not limited to. You will report to the Incubation team lead, and work closely with key internal stakeholders- such as the Seller Acquisition team, Marketing Solution team, Logistics team, and local market teams in order to grow new sellers and make them be new star sellers of Japan cross-border business from scratch.
Job Description:
  • Overall management and support for high potential new brand/resellers for their first 3 months (~ max 1 year) on Shopee in order to make them new star sellers, including educating, driving traffic, planning/executing on/offsite marketing, accelerating order conversion etc
  • Regarding portfolio setting: Help design strategy for the newly onboarded sellers on their shop's portfolio, which categories x brands x products, including pricing
  • Regarding order growth: Help design strategy for commercial & operational growth drivers such as marketing/campaign, logistics channel adoption (SLS, FBS etc)

Requirements:
  • Ability to drive seller management activities with strong ownership based on in-depth knowledge of the ecommerce/retail industry
  • At least 3 years of experience in account management, specifically in Ecommerce
  • Experience of >20 accounts mgmt at the same time is a must
  • A track record of growing new star sellers from scratch is a must
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese are a must
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and facilitate multi-lateral communications
  • Work well with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
  • Positive, team player, and energetic attitude
