About this opportunity:
We are looking for a Learning Partner to drive the strategic talent development initiatives and foster a strong talent pipeline for our Market Area North East Asia (MNEA) business. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders to design and implement impactful learning solutions that align with our strategic objectives, establish the learning culture, and address the unique talent needs of the Japanese market. This position is based in Yokohama, Japan, and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition and Development, MNEA.

We are looking for a Learning Partner to drive the strategic talent development initiatives and foster a strong talent pipeline for our Market Area North East Asia (MNEA) business. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders to design and implement impactful learning solutions that align with our strategic objectives, establish the learning culture, and address the unique talent needs of the Japanese market. This position is based in Yokohama, Japan, and reports to the Head of Talent Acquisition and Development, MNEA.
What you will do
- Conduct a comprehensive needs analysis to identify skill gaps and learning requirements for our Japanese employees.
- Design and develop culturally relevant and engaging end-to-end learning journey, tailored to the Japanese market and employees.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure learning initiatives support strategic goals and address specific talent development needs.
- Implement and oversee the delivery of global learning programs in Northeast Asia, leveraging global learning digitalization technologies and best practices.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve the learning experience based on feedback and performance metrics in Northeast Asia.
- Oversee the selection, management, and evaluation of both external and learning vendors and partners to maintain high standards of quality and effectiveness in program delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with at least 2 years of experience in talent development, learning, or training.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Experience in designing and developing learning solutions, as well as analyzing business cases for strategic initiatives.
- Understanding of technology solutions and their application to business needs, with a passion for digitalization.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese, both written and verbal.
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes and disciplines, as well as financial principles and their application.
- Ability to manage and drive innovation within the organization, with strong project/program management skills.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills to effectively convey strategies and plans.
- Demonstrated passion for training, learning, upskilling, and competence development, with a willingness to help and support others.
