Molex's Commercial and Consumer Solutions (CCS) division is seeking entrepreneurial professionals to become key members of the Product Manager (PM) group located in Yamato City, Japan, and various strategic locations across Asia.The PM will lead the profitable growth of products. Acting as Principled Entrepreneurs™, PMs work among external customers, Molex's global sales force, product engineering functions, and operations. PMs typically collaborate with all major aspects of their business unit, leveraging strong communication skills and influence without having direct subordinates. Key activities include identifying product trends and technologies. They also develop and execute strategic product plans and business plans.
The PM role is excellent preparation for engineers and sales personnel who want to develop a broad competency base needed for roles in management, general management, or other future positions, as well as enhance their influencing skills.
The Power and Signal business unit has a global presence and team with headquarters in the United States, and members in India, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, and many other countries. The Signal team consists of product managers, product development, and project managers who work closely to acquire business, develop new and innovative products, and optimize costs. We are looking to add more strong members to our product management team to enhance our capabilities and develop together.
What You Will Do

• Be the spokesperson for the Signal product portfolio
• Assist in acquiring business deals primarily with key accounts in AME, EUR, and ASIA
• Provide product training to sales, marketing and distributors
• Introduce new products and promote product recognition in various markets, distributors, and end customers
• Build product pricing strategies
• Stay sensitive to market trends, conduct analysis, and take strategic initiatives
• Connect market information, analysis, and strategic proposals to product development ideas and VOC for the development team.
