Position Overview:
If you are an experienced Sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting platform for you! Based in Yokohama, Japan, you will be responsible for sales & engineering support of Japan accounts for Copeland (compressor) and Flow Controls (line components) through working with major channel partners and cover various business segments such as Air-Conditioning, Cold Chain, Heating and Transportation through strong relationship building with customers.
As Sales Manager, Japan , You will:
- Developing and nurturing enduring customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborating effectively to identify and implement solutions to customer challenges.
- Driving the identification and timely realization of New Business Opportunities (NBOs) from assigned customer accounts.
- Facilitating cross-sector collaboration to unearth innovative business prospects.
- Offering market insights to marketing and business leaders, and regularly updating on sales and NBOs progress.
- Working closely with Application Engineers to proactively address and resolve quality concerns.
- Communicating with manufacturing plants to resolve quality-related issues.
- Managing customer claims related to product quality.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, particularly Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC-related fields, is preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with at least an intermediate level.
- A positive, collaborative attitude that enhances team dynamics.
- A track record of sales success, including strategic vision and quantitative analysis.
