Utilizing your expertise in contract management and negotiation, you will ensure the effective management of contracts, streamline procurement processes, and risk management across all phases of projects development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management or related role, preferably in construction or engineering industry.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts, legal principles, and industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional certifications in contracts management or project management (e.g., CCM, PMP) is advantageous.
- Must have valid transferrable residency in Kuwait.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and agreements specialize in project-specific contracts.
- Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Verify alignment with company policies and accurately reflect agreed terms.
- Organize and maintain contract documents, including change orders and correspondence.
- Ensure documentation is easily accessible and audit-ready.
- Track compliance with contract terms and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address any non-compliance issues promptly to maintain project integrity.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, including potential disputes and project delays.
- Proactively address contract-related liabilities to minimize risk exposure.
- Manage contract changes, variations, and amendments as required.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess impacts on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Work closely with project teams, legal counsel, and stakeholders to communicate contract status and updates.
- Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance and compliance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for contract-related questions, issues, and disputes, both internally and externally.
- Facilitate communication between project teams, subcontractors, clients, and legal counsel to resolve contractual issues effectively.
- Promote alignment on contract requirements and foster a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
