OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - Velvet Desert Co.

Salary: 350-400 KD
Location: Sharq, Kuwait City
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager in daily tasks to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, restocking, and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and process orders, shipping documents, and related paperwork.
- Monitor and follow up on shipments, liaising with customs and clearance teams as needed.
- Maintain a close relationship with the sales team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, reporting, and managing communications across departments.
- Support the team in identifying and resolving operational issues as they arise.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the operations team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an operations or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or inventory management is advantageous.
- Must be willing to be present at night hours for expo setup and dismantling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: KD350.000 - KD400.000 per month
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Fluent English (Preferred)
