Accounts Payable Intern

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a 6 month internship in Finance starting in February?

Based in Betzdorf, you will contribute to our Accounts Payable team to learn and enhance your finance education practical skills to help you further your career.

Your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

Channeling the SES vendor documents in the accounting system (SAP) through our newly developed OCR (Optical Character Recognition) system Opentext;
You will contribute in enhancing the machine learning process of the tool by executing a number of data quality checks;
You will help the Accounts Payable team in performing basic data cleansing in the vendor accounts and on purchase order level.

YOUR PROFILE

1. You must have

Being an advanced Bachelor/Master student in a relevant finance area;
Strong interest in the media/telecommunication business and technical interest in satellites;
Computer literate (MS Power Point, Excel, Access);
Fluency in spoken and written English with additional languages considered an asset;
Able to work in Luxembourg (EU nationality or valid work permit for Luxembourg).

2. It would be nice if you had

Work independently as well as in a team;
Easiness to communicate at all levels;
Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines;
Willingness to learn.
