Job Responsibilities
- In respect of subsidiaries in South Africa
- To head the Finance & Administration Department, ensure proper system of internal control and costing and timely preparation of financial reports and costing reports for Management decision.
- To prepare and submit the Companies’ accounting returns timely for consolidation.
- To manage human resource and administration functions of the Companies.
- To manage taxation matters of the Companies.
- To prepare and submit timely budgets of the Companies for consolidation.
- To ensure proper functioning of system of internal control and to oversee the accounting, reporting, finance, budgeting, audit and tax functions of the Companies.
- Any other duties as and when assigned by superior or management.
- In respect of HQ
- Credit control:
- To handle credit control evaluation process and to attend credit control monthly meeting with marketing department.
- Work closely with Corporate Affairs Manager (from holdings co) as well as external lawyer on legal proceeding cases.
- In respect of flagship company and subsidiaries (“The Group”)
- Taxation management:
- To manage taxation matters such as tax returns, appeals, dispute matters, etc.
- To oversee/ coordinate/ prepare whole set of annual tax information for tax agent’s tax computation preparation purpose.
- To review drafted tax returns prepared by tax agent and coordinate with tax agent in completing tax submission.
- To manage indirect taxes (such as GST/SST) compliance including submission of returns and resolution of issues.
- Budget process (annual):
- Coordinate with subsidiaries personnel to compile year end budget.
- To review subsidiary budgeted financial statements with senior management.
- To ensure comments and review points are amended in the budgeted financial statement.
- To present final consolidated budget to senior management for approval.
- Ad-Hoc and General Responsibilities:
- To co-ordinate and liaise with various departments with regards to operation/ non-financial matters.
- Any ad-hoc task assigned by management from time to time.
- At least 7 years of relevant working experience in the finance or accounting field in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, high integrity, and good problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as a committed team player.
- Highly adaptable to changing environments.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin speaker is preferred.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
