Responsibilities:

• Assist Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
• Assist Research potential vendors
• Assist Track orders and ensure timely delivery
• Assist Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Assist Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
• Assist Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
• Assist Prepare cost analyses
• Assist Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
• Assist Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
• Assist Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
• Assist in admin task such as filing and others ad hoc job given by the superior.

Requirements and skills

• Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
• Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role. Fresh graduate/ Internship are welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of market research
• Solid organizational skills

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

• Monday to Friday
