ASSISTANT MANAGER - MAINTENANCE (SECTOR MANUFACTURING PAPER INDUSTRIES)

- Set up machines safely and effectively for operators to execute job orders.
- Maintain and organize proper storage of spare parts, tools and to keep proper record of work done
- Ensure that machines are maintained in good and safe working condition
- Repair and clean machine when needed Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure production capacity & quality
- Evaluate machine performance and recommend improvement Inspect machine to identify any replacement , malfunction, repairs and source for replacement parts when needed
- Co-ordinate with Operation Manager / Technical Manager for production Planning & Scheduling
- Assist in other areas of production where necessary
- Ability to lead the operations team in overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate maintenance activities on all electrical wiring and systems.
- Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
- Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Checking electrical and systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
- Prepare monthly update and maintenance report for the management.
- Ensure any power trip / complaint being handled properly.
- Advise the management on maintenance issue in terms of cost and proper check.
- Candidate must possess Certificate, Diploma or higher in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechanics Engineering
- Experience to set up machine (paper industries)
- Understanding of mechanical & electrical systems would be preferable
- Understanding of maintenance process & methods with working knowledge of common tools & devices
- Team player & ability to communicate, interact with all concerned parties
- Positive attitude in challenging work environment and pro-active.
- Preferably with at least more than 5 years experience in similar capacity or job scope
- Able to support facilities operation and maintenance after office hours when needed.
- Candidate must be at least able to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia & English. Those who are able converse in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
Location : Klang Utama, Klang Selangor
* priority is given to those living close to the factory address
* Experience in Paper & Packaging industries machine is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Yearly bonus
- Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
