Electrical Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical product electric systems, wiring and equipment. You will work closely with other technicians to ensure efficient operations in the department.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Investigate product returned by customers and to resolve customer’s problems by clarifying and identifying the root cause of the returned product, and provide the best solution to replace or repair damaged electrical wiring and components.
  • Install new electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and control panels.
  • Ensure that installations comply with electrical codes and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Document and report on inspection and testing results.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of electrical maintenance procedures.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance works whether daily, weekly, monthly, yearly according to the schedule provided for electrical equipment and installations.
  • To install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • To inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Assist in SIRIM application for electrical products.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (academic, experience, competencies etc.)
  • Completed at least Higher Secondary/SPM/Diploma/Technical Degree;
  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia;
  • Proven experience as an electrical technician or similar role;
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices;
  • Must be hands on & assist others when necessary;
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
