Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Advisor

Your Responsibilities

• Campus Sustainability Program: Play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable and responsible business practices within organisations and contribute to all relevant ESG programs in Kulim, Malaysia.
  
• Campus ESG / HSE Engagement: Collaboration with Corporate Sustainability Networks and other relevant departments with all ESG-related activities in Kulim, Malaysia.
  
• Campus Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Program: Continual improvement of our energy performance and the carbon footprint across our operations.
  
• Campus Circularity Program: Copper Recovery, Recycling & Waste Management
  
• Campus ESG related Training, Awareness and Communications: Supports the relevant departments in reporting and properly communicating sustainability topics across the organisation and raise internal awareness of ESG topics.
  
• Campus ESG / HSE Compliance, Risks Management & Control
  
  

Your Profile

• More than 5 years on industrial experience
  
• Degree from University
  
• Strong science and technical background
  
• Passionate and quick learner with a strong academic record
  
• Several years of professional background in industrial experience
  
• Ability to run and build connections with multiple functions in a matrixed organisation
  
• Detail analytical skills and root cause analysis
  
• Thorough knowledge of project/program management techniques, tools, and methods
  
• Effective team player who can organise and prioritise tasks.
  
• Capability to conduct research and analysis with key stakeholders; manage and interpret results; take corrective
  
• action in the event of deviations; and conduct root cause analysis to improve and provide advanced solutions.
  
• Experience in assessing social, environmental, and governance impacts and risks
  
• Ability to understand and interpret international and local legal regulations and programme requirements
  
• The ability to conduct training as needed
  
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  
• Excellent intercultural awareness
  
• Must be able to work under pressure and be highly stress resistant.
  
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
