Role Purpose

Key Accountability

• Shall be responsible for accomplishment of the deferred defects, SMR, TSI and other critical tasks within the set time frames. To plan troubleshooting and action required to rectify the deferred defects.
• To check spares availability, ground time and resources for daily planned tasks. To produce achievable plans for Line Maintenance to accomplish the deferred defects, SMR (when required) and load achievable tasks into the daily work package. The planned tasks will be discussed and agreed with the contracted AMO (Section Head / Duty Engineer) prior to the assignment to the daily work package.
• To verify the planned tasks and reasons for de-assignment and technical feedback from the contracted AMO LAE
• Shall be responsible for the continuity and effective troubleshooting of the deferred defects. To administer all MW fleet technical follow-ups. To produce daily, monthly and quarterly reports for deferred defects, SMR and others.
• To analyse defect trend and technical related issues. The analysis report will support accurate managerial decision making.
• To identify and monitor repetitive aircraft defects from AMOS and PIREP to ensure high level of dispatch reliability and operational aircraft availability.
• To provide Technical follow up on reported defect and technical delay during daily operation.
• To effectively recover AOG aircraft and to minimize technical delays.
• To analyse deferred defect trend and significant potential failures projection.
• To monitor and record aircraft and cabin equipment deficiencies, e.g. cabin warm, inoperative seats, inoperative toilet, inoperative cargo door and etc.

Qualification & Experience

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of aircraft system
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge on Engineering Operations and Quality System
• Familiarity with company policies, procedures and relevant regulatory requirements

• Plan and coordinate operations whenever aircraft is AOG and technical delay
• Identify and follow up on potential aircraft grounding defects
