1) Budgeting and Forecasting: Conduct budget reviews and create financial forecasts for various aspects of the business. Utilize Power BI or other visualization tools for real-time performance tracking
2) Financial Reporting: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing a clear overview of the business performance
3) Financial Data Collection and Processing: Gather and compile data from various sources and ensure data accuracy, completeness and reliability through data validation and cleansing process
4) Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced data analytics to inform strategies and support team members in achieving performance goals. Proficiency in Excel for complex data manipulation, statistical analysis, and financial modelling is essential
5) Performance Analysis: Continuously analyze sales, customer behaviour, market trends, and product performance to identify areas for improvement. Create actionable insights for the team
6) Business Development Support: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential business development opportunities. Provide data-driven recommendations to guide decisions
7) Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders, particularly financial, information technology and e-commerce teams, to align strategies and actions
8) Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analyses to solve specific business questions and provide recommendations for action.
Qualification:
▪ At least 2 years of experience in business financial planning role and accounting background
▪ Advanced Excel skills are mandatory; familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools is highly desirable
▪ Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
▪ Hands-on experience with finance analysis tools and a basic understanding of retail business
▪ Exceptional ability in financial analysis and interpretation
▪ Strong communication skills for presenting complex data and strategies in an easily understandable manner
▪ Excellent project management abilities, with the skill to handle multiple tasks efficiently
▪ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide data-driven insights to support broader business objectives.
▪ Able to adapt to changes and work well under pressure
