About My Sakinah: For the past two years, My Sakinah has been pioneering innovative solutions to help couples navigate the complexities of marriage. Through extensive research and development (R&D) and real-world application, we’ve reached over 2,500 spouses with our fully online support program, successfully saving marriages on the brink of divorce. With a 70% success rate, we have demonstrated that, with the right tools and guidance, even the most challenging relationships can be revived.
Building on this success, we are now launching Malaysia's most comprehensive Marriage Transformation Program — Season 1, which will feature 200 online masterclass episodes tailored specifically for husbands and wives. Each episode will consist of a 20-minute masterclass on various topics around marriage, providing maximum experience and results for each spouse.
As we expand our initiatives, we are seeking an MBA student intern to assist with fundraising activities, including the preparation and submission of proposals for government grants and other funding opportunities.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic MBA student to join our team as a Fundraising and Grants Intern. This position will focus on early preparation, research, analysis, and submission of proposals to secure funding and sponsorships that support My Sakinah’s mission and programs. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Key Responsibilities:

• Research Funding Opportunities: Conduct research to identify potential government grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities that align with My Sakinah's objectives.
• Proposal Preparation: Assist in drafting, organizing, and preparing proposals for submission, ensuring that all materials meet the required guidelines and deadlines.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and information relevant to funding applications, including budgeting and project impact metrics.
• Documentation Management: Organize and maintain documentation related to grant applications and sponsorship proposals, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to gather information and insights necessary for creating compelling proposals.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed an MBA program.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to conduct research and analyze information effectively.
• Familiarity with fundraising or grant writing is a plus, but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
