Role:
This is freelance role for 5 months period with General working hours (9AM to 6PM). Payroll from Pan Asia Software Solution
Candidate Current location is in Malaysia
Work Mode - Hybrid
Write SQL scripts to assist in migrating data from one system to another. This sort of process is typically referred to as an ETL (extract, transform, load) process.
More specifically, internal DPE members will make available a SQL database as a source of data from a system called Navision, where the contractors will write SQL processes to take that data, map it to a destination data source, and send it to that destination system called Microsoft Data Dynamics. This process will need to be run multiple times, so designing and writing the SQL scripts so they can be easily re-run is a consideration.
Note that no skills apart from SQL, and preferably experience in ETL processes is required. Knowledge of the source system and destination system is not needed, apart from treating them as an SQL data source and an SQL data destination.
Preferably one of the 3 contractors will have experience in this sort of process and can lead the other 2 in working with the DPE internal people setting up this system
