We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our team as Individual Giving (IG) Assistant Manager at Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC). The Individual Giving Assistant Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding individual giving programs to ensure sustainable funding for the Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC). This role will also oversee the execution of digital fundraising strategies in a manageable and focused manner, supporting overall fundraising goals while working closely with the Resource Mobilization and Sustainability Manager.
Job duties and responsibilities :
1. Work closely with the Resource Mobilization Manager in developing and implementing individual giving strategies, both traditional and digital.
2. Executing digital fundraising initiatives, managing online campaigns, and monitoring digital performance metrics.
3. Identifying potential channels for donors, especially through digital methods, and implementing strategies to retain them.
4. Maintaining strong donor relationships and ensuring ongoing communication and engagement through personalized and automated outreach.
5. Overseeing IG campaigns, both online and offline, while collaborating with the communications team for content creation.
6. Coordinating with external vendors for digital tools, platforms, and services related to fundraising. Managing communication with service providers to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.
7. Working with other departments to align fundraising efforts with broader organizational goals.
8. Staying updated on trends in digital fundraising and proposing new methods for enhancing donor engagement and campaign success.
Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree: In a relevant field such as Management, Marketing, Finance, or Social Development.

Work Experience

• Experience in Fundraising: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, specifically in individual giving.
• Experience in Marketing or Communications: Experience in marketing strategies and communications related to fundraising.
• Relationship Management Experience: Skills in building and managing relationships with donors and stakeholders.

Skills

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze donor data and assess the effectiveness of fundraising strategies.
• Time Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
