As we continually strive for excellence and competitiveness, we are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer with Dev Ops expertise and a passion for AI-powered technologies to provide strategic guidance and technical leadership to our cross-functional engineering team.
Job Description

• Possess deep expertise in both backend development and Dev Ops domains, serving as the go-to person for technical requirements and design decisions in both areas.
• Identify, plan, and execute initiatives to enhance delivery processes and efficiency, encompassing both backend development and Dev Ops practices.
• Lead efforts to explore, design, and integrate AI-powered features into our technology stack, collaborating with data teams to build and maintain machine learning pipelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration efforts between engineering teams to achieve shared goals and milestones seamlessly.
• Contribute actively to code reviews, offering constructive feedback and mentorship to team members in both backend, Dev Ops, and AI development disciplines.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions, design reviews, and AI-related project tasks, fostering expertise in both backend development, Dev Ops, and AI.
• Effectively communicate technical decisions through documentation, tech talks, and knowledge sharing platforms, especially on the use of AI tools and machine learning models.
• Collaborate seamlessly with product managers and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives, including AI initiatives aimed at automating and optimizing business processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, our infrastructure, and build systems, ensuring our technology stack remains cutting-edge in backend, Dev Ops, and AI domains.
• Proactively identify and address challenges in requirements, facilitating early resolution and course correction in both backend and AI development areas.
• Continuously scale personal effectiveness and influence within the team and organization, including AI innovation.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 6 years of solid software development experience in enterprise solutions, with expertise in both backend development and Dev Ops practices.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Framework, Web Services, RDBMS, No SQL, Docker, AWS stack, Git, microservices architecture, and Dev Ops tools and practices.
• Bonus: Hands-on experience or a strong interest in AI technologies, including machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Py Torch), data pipelines, and AI model integration.
• Experience in diagnosing and resolving performance issues using profiler tools in both backend and Dev Ops contexts.
• Familiarity with unit testing and mocking frameworks to ensure code quality in both backend development and Dev Ops pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring and coaching team members in backend development, Dev Ops, and AI.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaborative environments, encompassing backend, Dev Ops, and AI processes.
• Good knowledge or experience in web & scripting technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, Python is a plus.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and strong team-player mentality, contributing to backend development, Dev Ops, and AI initiatives effectively.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, facilitating efficient collaboration across engineering, and business functions.
