ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Lead and manage the completion of audit assignments, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Design and oversee the implementation of real-time project audit procedures, utilizing advanced data analytics tools and dashboards.
• Continuously monitor project activities, promptly identifying deviations from plans, and taking proactive measures to address potential issues.
• Gather and analyze real-time project data to assess project health, risk exposure, and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee the detection and prevention of potential fraud during engagements.
• Develop comprehensive audit reports, providing actionable recommendations for corrective measures.
• Communicate audit findings effectively to project stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and expectations exceeded.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure seamless project execution.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, promoting open communication and collaboration.
• Effectively manage project budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Ensure that working papers of every assignment are complete, properly organized, indexed, and filed according to standard requirements.
• Conduct follow-up activities to ensure the implementation of recommended actions.

Skills

• High level of ethics and integrity.

• Comprehensive understanding of auditing principles and experience with audit software (e.g., ACL, IDEA, Power BI).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., spreadsheets, dashboards, Power BI, Tableau) for audit purposes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise audit reports and presentations.
• Deep understanding of major business processes.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
• Strong adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and industry regulations to effectively manage changing project requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Relevant Industries

Internal

• 3 years working experience in a senior executive role preferably in Internal Audit
• Member of ISACA/IIAM/MIA (Preferably)
• Certified CIA/CISA (Preferably)

External

• Degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• Member of ISACA/IIAM/MIA is a plus.
• Certified CIA/CISA is a plus.

Education

Internal

• Bachelors Degree/Professional qualification/ Diploma preferably in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, IT, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• (Master degree would be an added advantage)
• Must achieve and maintain the following performance rating for two (2) consecutive years of at least
  
  • Exceptional / A or Outstanding / B; and
    
  • Minimum Meet Expectations / C
    
• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counseling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion
  
  

External
