Tasks & responsibilities

• To lead mechanical & facilities staff and group technician.
• To respond, plan and execute maintenance daily operational activities.
• To support manager for Equipment Efficiency, Mechanical and facilities daily works.
• Optimizing equipment control system and operation improvement.
• To assist manager for overall factory and equipment management program, contribute to effective energy management activities.
• To lead technician on equipment improvement project through proper technical evaluation.
• To carry out Condition and Time Base maintenance programs.
• To carry out Maintenance Services & Conduct performance Monitoring & Inspection.
• To execute factory and operation cost reduction project.
• To support on qualifying Man, Machine, Method and Spare parts by engineering study and data analysis.
• To maintain up to date and availability of WI, SOP and regular reporting documentation to management.
• Perform regular checking & inspection to ensure of Factory mechanical and facilities equipment in safe operation.
• To support & assist Enforcement Officers from DOE, DOSH, BOMBA and other Government Authorities on Factory Premises, Plant & Machineries Inspections.
• To conduct mechanical maintenance on job training upon request.
• To execute daily and shutdown preventive maintenance jobs.
• Respond to the emergency breakdown / repair of mechanical & facilities equipment and system at anytime.
• Liaise with vendor or consulting Engineer on all aspects relating to the mechanical & facilities equipment.
• To support and provide input to yearly budgeted on up-keep expenses for Maintenance of building / Facility equipment & etc.
• To support ensure all contractor safety & environmental requirement are compiled for all activities.
• To manage maintenance external and internal resources effectively.
• Provide support to superior in managing and handling matters related to QMS, EMS & ESH management system and recommend opportunity on energy conservation programs from times to times.
• Any other assignment order by direct superior.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing or any Engineering discipline.
• Competent in Dust collection system will be added advantage.
• Minimum 3 years working experiences in manufacturing or equipment maintenance.
• Experiences in Quality, Environmental, Safety & Health Activities including management system would be added advantages.
• Must know how to read Engineering drawings or Electrical circuit diagrams.
• Practical knowledge in mechanical fitting, tolerances, hydraulic and pneumatic system.
• Practical knowledge in welding, piping construction, HVAC, shaft alignment, vibration analysis, material application and mechanical condition base maintenance.

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
