Tasks & responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes for laser cut, welding, spray painting, bead blasting, CNC Machining and sheet metal forming.
• Optimize existing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Set up process routes.
• Oversee the design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures to support process improvements and production requirements.
• Collaborate to meet product specifications.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process-related issues to improve performance.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Department Head from time to time.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or 3 years related experience.
• Proficiency in process design and optimization techniques.
• Experience with jig and fixture fabrication.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of processes including laser cut, robotic/ manual welding, spray painting, bead blasting, CNC machining and sheet metal forming.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From RM3,800.00 per month
