Purpose

To administer and develop the Asia SAP Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Material Management (MM) System.

Nature and Scope

As a member of the Management Systems Group, the Maintenance Systems Specialist is a technical resource for our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and Spare Parts IMS (Inventory Management Systems), supporting multiple businesses. This includes Industrial Gases, Liquid Bulk, Helium, Packaged Gases and Discrete Manufacturing. SAP is the primary database.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

SAP Preventive Maintenance (PM)

Create, build, load, and validate new plant databases using online and data migration transfer processes. This involves studying plant flowsheets in order to determine the most appropriate database tree structure, creating master equipment, class and characteristics, measuring point, Bill of Materials load files and developing and loading appropriate preventive maintenance task lists and plans. Create, build, load, and validate data associated with changes or additions to plant in line with e MOC process. Execute online database changes and batch data migration transfer programs in order to update plant database files, maintain data integrity, and ensure database conforms to current worldwide standards, policies and procedures. Audit plant databases to ensure they are complete and accurate, conform to current worldwide guideline maintenance standards, and meet the operational and maintenance requirements of each facility. At the same time, ensure that our PM Tasks are consistently applied, and PM Programs continually reflect the Corporate and Business requirements for Safety, Reliability and Productivity. Work to resolve gaps or discrepancies that are reported or discovered through audits. Provide practical and technical guidance and advice to line, facility, technical, maintenance support managers, shutdown planners, and facility maintenance staff on all preventive maintenance system matters. Provide reports and data extracts. Make changes (additions, updates, deletions) to the Preventive Maintenance task libraries in SAP and the PM build Access application. Ensure that they are always up to date and consistent with each other in all languages. Works directly with MI resources in multiple sub-Regions to define and set up MI tags and PM tasks. The engineer defines Functional Location and Equipment structures for Process Safety Devices/Systems. Knowledge is needed in the SAP setup and reporting aspects. Travel to plant sites as required to collect and validate master data.

Material Management (MM) System

Perform all spare parts materials management activities including processing SAP transactions, spare parts requisition, ensure good housekeeping practice in warehouse and physical inventories cycle counts audit. Coordinate the receiving, storage, and distribution of spare parts, ensuring that they are properly accounted for and recorded. Identify materials ordered for maintenance (both Work Order & Purchase Order materials) and track for delivery dates. Identify materials that are ordered, verify that material is received. Inform maintenance team when all material needed is available for the job. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and conduct regular inventory audits to identify and rectify discrepancies. Timely report the spare parts materials management inventory status and ensure the accuracy of spare parts materials management inventory. Monitor stock levels and reorder materials as needed to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Collaborate with functional engineer to ensure optimize spare parts quantity Providing guidance on best practices. Work with plants to implement the changes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree or Diploma in relevant field. Preferably 3-5 years working experience of relevant experience in a similar industry. Knowledge of SAP Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Material Management (MM). Strong understanding of the SAP and the ability to configure it according to business requirements. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Qliksense and Qlikview experience is a plus. Good ability of organization and adapting, work with flexibility. Must be able to manage multiple projects and be a self-starter. Good interpersonal, organizing, and coordinating skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels within the organization.
