Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team at our company workshop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications. This role involves welding, cutting, and fitting metal pieces while adhering to safety standards and ensuring high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding on various metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fit and assemble metal parts.
• Cut, shape, and prepare metal components using hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment.
• Ensure proper alignment, measurements, and fitment of parts before welding or assembly.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
• Physical ability to handle materials and work in a demanding workshop environment.
• Welding certification preferred.

Pay: RM1,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
