We're looking for a motivated and driven Legal Mobility Specialist (Expert Legal Counsel) (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• Develop and implement legal and compliance policies and procedures for Flix in Mexico
• Provide legal advice on contracts, intellectual property, employment law, litigation, and other legal matters
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including data protection, labor laws, and intellectual property laws
• Manage external legal counsel and oversee legal proceedings and disputes
• Negotiate and draft contracts and agreements with clients, vendors, and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all business operations
• Conduct legal research and analysis to address emerging legal issues and develop proactive strategies
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of legal and compliance requirements
• Coordinate with Flix legal counsel in other jurisdictions to assist with global compliance efforts
• Serve as a key interface to central, regional, and local transport authorities in Mexico
• Prepare and apply for permissions from authorities to operate regular bus lines
• Support the modification and acquisition of line concessions, particularly in Mexico
• Manage station contracts, identify new bus stop locations, and negotiate with regional authorities
• Support the Customer Service department with legal topics and assist the Finance department with vendor contracts
• Play an integral role in the revolution of the mobility market in Mexico

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• Bachelor's degree in law, a Master's degree is preferred
• 10 plus years' experience in corporate law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance
• Experience leading legal department in start-up environment, fast pace moving industries
• Knowledge and or experience in mobility and or transport local regulations is a must (transport preferable).
• Strong knowledge of Mexican laws and regulations (including data protection, compliance, labor laws, and intellectual property laws).
• Proven track record of managing legal and compliance matters for a large organization.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including public authorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex legal and compliance issues.
• Structured, pro-active work style with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English
• High motivation for achievement, entrepreneurial drive, and willingness to develop the business.
