Country Sales Manager - Morocco

webook.com is the leading online and retail ticketing platform for entertainment, sports, and attractions in the KSA, with operations also extending to MOROCCO and future expansion plans in other regional markets. The company is currently seeking a Sales person to oversee the introduction and expansion of new products in MOROCCO.
You will play a pivotal role in nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients, presenting an exceptional opportunity to contribute significantly to a rapidly growing enterprise. Planned product expansions include business events registration services, travel and trade ticketing solutions for tourist attractions, a digital ticket wallet, a resale platform, among others.
you should possess robust connections within the realms of business events, entertainment, tourism, and sports. Effective communication skills are imperative for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivating enduring client relationships
  • Identifying potential new clients such as promoters, organizers, venues, and attractions, to adopt webook.com as their preferred or exclusive ticketing partner
  • Conducting regular meetings with both potential and existing clients
  • Crafting compelling proposals for clients post-meetings, requiring strong proposal design abilities
  • Engaging with clients and managing potential leads in a respectful and balanced manner
  • Attending events and social gatherings with clients regularly, sometimes on weekends
  • Utilizing CRM systems efficiently
  • Identifying potential retail or other physical outlets for ticket sales, and establishing fruitful deals and partnerships to enhance the sales and brand presence of webook.com
  • Establishing relationships with key government and semi-government entities involved in event licensing, promotion, and regulation in MOROCCO
  • Providing feedback to the webook.com development team regarding any necessary changes or enhancements to products or systems tailored for the region
Key Skills:
  • Previous experience in managing ticketing for public events; ideally, candidates should have worked within a ticketing agency in an operational or sales capacity for at least 3 years. However, candidates without specific ticketing experience will be considered if they meet other essential criteria
  • Familiarity with the sports, entertainment, and business events industry in MOROCCO
  • Experience in negotiating with government and semi-government bodies in MOROCCO
  • Track record of building client relationships and selling to new potential clients in a service-oriented industry
  • Experience in recruiting, managing, and developing sales and operations teams
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of team management experience
  • Candidates should be based in Casablanca.
  • Possession of a driver's license and a car
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to deliver effective proposals promptly
  • Strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management
  • Background in new business development, sales, or sales management
  • University degree
  • Fluency in Arabic and English

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in a relevant field
  • Ability to work independently
  • Flexibility in working hours, as the events industry often demands work outside of standard hours
  • Availability for travel if necessary.
