We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Officer for the Supply Chaing and Logistics department in Casablanca, Morocco.
Role Overview:
Purchasing Officer responsibilities include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports . For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers.
Ultimately, you’ll create and maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.
On a typical day you will:
- Researching potential vendors

Comparing and evaluating offers from suppliers:
- Office supplies & Outsourcing
- Workwear & Safety Equipment
- Hardware & Tools Purchasing
- Negotiating contract terms of agreement and reviewing price and quality of purchased products
- Orders Preparation on System and Coordination of Deliveries: Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Car Fleet Monitoring
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
What You Will Need to be Successful:
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software and Hardware
- Understanding of supply chain procedures
- Solid capacity of negotiation
- Solid analytical skills.
- Fluency in English and French
