Technical Assistant (Recruitment for AML)

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Assist the Technical Manager and Fleet Superintendent with their clerical duties.
- Assist with planning and optimising of
- Provide support, implement system changes and provide system training for vessel maintenance systems.
- Ensure that compliance with the various Authorities and use best practice regarding maintenance.
- Monitoring expiry dates of vessel’s trading certificates.
- Providing data and documentation for major machinery failures and any resulting insurance claims.
- Preparing monthly report on vessel’s budgeted and actual expenditure and submit/report to Technical Manager on time.
- General administrative duties within the fleet in support of the Technical Manager and Fleet Superintendents.
- Ensuring that all forms are filled in correctly and filled onboard/sent to the office.
- Maintaining the technical files on Company operated ships, including plans and operating manuals as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-year experience from working with clerical tasks
- Experience from working in technical role within shipping is a plus
- Experience from working onboard a vessel is a plus
- Fluent in spoken and written English and French
- Spanish and Arabic is as plus
- If applicable, able to obtain permission to work in Morocco (VISA)
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Tanger, Morocco within our Fleet Operations Team.
