Job Description
What is the job about?
The development team is responsible for both building and maintaining the FX and international payments platform of Franx. We’re looking for a 5 years experienced Back end developer. Keywords are innovation, a great client experience, sound security and reliability.
The platform consists of a SPA internet portal for our clients written in React. The frontend pulls its data from an API gateway that is connecting to the backend domain microservices. REST services are developed in .NET Core using the latest popular Nu Get libraries. Applications are containerized using Docker and hosted in Kubernetes.

Qualifications
Who are you?
You are an experienced back end developer with strong technical skills. You are a software enthusiast that is up-to-date with latest technologies and other developments.

• Min. 5 yr. experience in a similar role
• Strong experience with C# and building web APIs using ASP.NET Core, following SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and managing applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services and Azure Functions for serverless architecture.
• Skilled in working with SQL Database and other relational databases, with knowledge of Entity Framework for ORM and database performance optimization.
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Dev Ops for automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines, along with infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Familiarity with using Azure AD for authentication/authorization, implementing secure coding practices, and handling protocols like OAuth and Open ID Connect.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics for tracking application performance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of microservices, cloud-native design patterns, and containerization with Docker, optionally including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Eager, curious and dare to challenge ideas
• You take pride in delivering quality software
• Previous experience in a financial services environment is a plus
