Clinical Evaluation Officer

Do you see yourself as a Clinical Evaluation Officer who ensures that clinical evaluation activities for DORC products comply with regulations and are designed and implemented to support performance and safety claims according to regulatory and business strategies? Tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure timely execution of assigned clinical review activities through efficient and effective use of internal resources and systems, as well as external parties
- Writing literature review plans and literature review reports and conducting or supervising literature reviews, assessments and analyses
- Act as scientific advisor and reviewer for publications on performance and safety of DORC products
- (Co-)author publications on behalf of DORC
- (Co-)author clinical evaluation plans and reports
- Preparation of post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) plans and reports
- Timely escalation and resolution of quality or compliance issues
Skills, education and expertise:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a medical, biomedical or medical technology field, or completed training as an optometrist or orthoptist
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Familiar with clinical evaluation requirements and able to translate these into pragmatic guidelines for the organisation
- Sufficient knowledge of statistics to assess data analysis and statistical methodology in scientific publications for scientific validity
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and manage projects methodically based on business priorities and available resources
- Ability to critically assess publications and documentation for scientific reliability
- Experience in conducting science-based literature reviews
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a geographically separated, multinational and multifunctional team environment
- Experience in technical and scientific writing
- Effective collaboration within a diverse network of strong personalities
- Open to improvement opportunities and change to strive for world-class compliance performance
- Ability to think creatively and proactively identify alternative solutions to problems
- High ethical standards and personal integrity
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (both written and oral)
- Advanced level in Microsoft Office suite applications

- 27 holidays for a 40-hour full-time job
- 8% holiday pay

- Bonus scheme
- A full-time salary between € 4,250 and € 5,320 gross per month. That's above average, but that's what you're worth!
- A travel allowance of €0.23/km
- The ability to work up to 50% from home if that suits
- And a non-contributory pension, which means you will receive a substantially higher net salary
