Job Description

As a Group Financial Controller, you will have a broad financial role within a rapidly growing group of trading organizations. You will ensure that the (financial) processes run smoothly and prepare various reports that serve as steering information for the group's management. Additionally, you will contribute to the improvement of our ERP system and further digitalization of our processes.
Your tasks will include:

• Playing a key role in the group’s consolidation process, including the further implementation of consolidation tools.
• Monitoring the month-end close of both foreign and Dutch entities.
• Preparing for the annual financial statements and audits.
• Being co-responsible for the development and improvement of systems and processes within Finance (e.g., speeding up the month-end close process).
• Contributing to the tax filings of the fiscal unit and providing advice on various tax matters.
• Offering advice on financial matters, both when asked and on your own initiative.
• Handling ad-hoc requests for management and steering information.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a financial field (Business Economics, Accountancy, etc.).
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a financial controller, (assistant) accountant, or a similar position.
• Experience with (complex) consolidation tasks.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, commercially-driven environment.
• Ability to switch gears quickly and maintain a proactive attitude.
• Fluent in English.
