Job Description
AECOM has a position available for a Net Zero Graduate Consultant, to be based in The Netherlands (The Hague), or in Belgium (Gent or Leuven). The position will help us to deliver on our fast-growing pipeline of work offering Net Zero and decarbonisation studies, GHG verification assessments, energy auditing and sustainability work.
Responsibilities

• Undertaking energy and carbon audits of client organisations, assets, estates, and portfolios, and identifying measures to improve their energy/carbon performance, and modelling their impact
• Providing advice to clients regarding the best long-term strategies to achieve Net Zero alignment, meet targets and supports their sustainability ambitions
• Supporting the capture of pursuits that are strategic to our vision of offering market leading Net Zero and decarbonisation services
• Providing general advice regarding other sustainability priorities to colleagues and clients
• Collaboration with other Business Lines and colleagues, to promote cross selling and insourcing of services
• Drives the enhancement of AECOM’s own commitments regarding Net Zero, sustainability and best practice ESG principles
• Promotes AECOM’s Sustainable Legacies ESG Strategy

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university (i.e., Environmental Sciences, Engineering)
• Graduate or early-career consultant with 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within energy/carbon consulting or sustainability generally
• Be able to work both autonomously, and as part of a team
• Technically creative skills
• Conducting technical analysis
• Ability to communicate effectively and present findings to clients
• Excellent report writing skills (in English)
• Strong commitment to AECOM’s health and safety culture.
• Strong commitment to sustainability and interest in supporting our Sustainable Legacies strategy.
• Preferably a valid driving licence
• Languages:
  • Must have excellent English language skills
  • Preferably good or better Dutch language skills
  • Other language skills would be considered a bonus (especially German, French, Italian)
