• Conduct life cycle assessments in line with ISO standards, including data acquisition, compilation, calculation, interpretation, and documentation
• Prepare life cycle information (e.g., water or carbon footprints) for communication to customers and other external parties
• Perform early-stage technical and cost assessments using established Dow methodologies, and develop customized cost-estimating methods as needed
• Stay updated with developments in relevant technologies and serve as an information resource for project teams and stakeholders
• Collaborate on multi-disciplinary project teams, providing technical input and delivering results aligned with team goals
• Identify sources of uncertainty in technologies and cost estimates, and apply tools such as sensitivity analyses and Monte Carlo simulations to understand potential impacts
• Document assessments and project results in research reports
• Present findings at technical conferences and publish in professional journals

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related science field is required; a Master’s degree or Ph D is preferred.
• Experience with life cycle assessment methods and tools, gained through coursework or projects.
• Experience in industrial process development, including applied research, scale-up, and/or chemical manufacturing, preferably across a variety of process technologies.
• Project management experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
