As a Nutritionist Swine you possess a technical affinity for nutrition and have a passion for delivering nutritional solutions that support our customers. In this role, you’ll also advise the organization on emerging market trends, new concepts, and nutritional innovations. Your focus will be on the Benelux region, particularly the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and (parts of) Scandinavia.

Working closely with the Benelux Swine team, R&D, account managers, local distributors, feed compounders, and farmers, you will foster collaboration and synergy across teams. As a nutritionist you have proven excellence in nutrition, and you are ready for any technical challenge. You will be part of a broader swine team and report directly to the Swine Manager of Trouw Nutrition Benelux.

About The Role
Responsibilities:

• Give active technical sales support to customers to support the sales of the Swine portfolio which exists out of premix, farm minerals, Milkiwean, Selko feed additives and sustainability solutions, including modelling.
  
• Develop new concepts and applications, including building a standard portfolio and developing new premix concepts.
  
• Lead throughout cocreation to technical launch of new products and concepts (internal and at the customer).
  

Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:

• You have a master’s degree in animal science, animal nutrition or a similar field.
  
• You have at least 5 years’ experience in animal nutrition and/or product development
  
• You have a strong knowledge and experience in swine nutrition
  
• You are fluent in Dutch and English both written and verbal. German language skills are a plus.
  

Expectation from Role:

• You give technical advice and are the backbone of our nutrition division.
  
• In collaboration with product managers, you solve problems on the ground with our clients.
  
• You are developing nutritional solutions together with your colleagues, addressing the customers’ needs.
  
• By having a pulse on the market, from research to practical nutrition, you bring new ideas into the ECA (Europe Central-Asia) organization.
