Background


Radar is a core perception technology in advanced driver assisted systems (ADAS) for enhancing safety and convenience. Future radar systems in vehicles will likely move to the higher millimeter-wave bands and incorporate more digital processing and machine learning capabilities.


A Radar Systems Engineer:

• Designs a complete and complex module or system for radar.
  
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves radar system design weaknesses.
  
• Influences the shaping of future radar products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems.
  
• Contributes to dissemination in the form of inventions and publications
