Senior Data Catalog Strategy Specialist - FTC - Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global organisation as a Senior Data Catalog Strategy Specialist on a FTC basis. This is a hybrid role involving occasional travel. You could be based out of UK, Poland, Netherlands or Switzerland. You would be responsible for design and implement a Data Catalog Strategy that enables efficient data discovery, governance, and usage across the organisation. A detailed report on the current state of data management and cataloging within the organization
Skills:
  • Atleast 7+ years of experience in data management, with a focus on data cataloging and metadata management.
  • experience in designing and implementing Data Catalog strategies in large organizations.
  • Should have a Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management standards, and data discovery tools.
  • Should have experience in Data Catalog platforms and integration with various data sources (e.g., databases, data lakes, cloud systems).
  • Should be familiar with data privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Should be able to produce Guidelines and policies for managing metadata and ensuring data governance.
  • Experience in an Implementation and Migration Plan (A detailed step-by-step guide for migrating data into the new system, testing, and validating results
  • Experience in providing recommendations on the appropriate tools and technologies for implementing the data catalog.
  • Having excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
