As we pursue our vision of redefining the world, we seek a Senior Product Designer who sees potential where others see the ordinary and strives for nothing short of excellence. You will lead the design of Artipoppe’s products from initial concept and careful yarn selection of the world’s finest materials to the final production-ready sample, collaborating closely with our CMO and operations team to bring each creation to life.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Leading the development and design process of the Artipoppe Collection;
• Pitching new design concepts to the CMO with mood boards, drawings, and prints;
• Creating visualizations, mock-ups, and prototypes (e.g., mappings and simulations, computer graphics drawings) of new patterns, fabrics, and product innovations;
• Selecting yarns and maintaining close contact with our yarn suppliers of natural materials;
• Working closely with the operations team to validate prototypes, paying attention to every detail of our materials (textiles and components) and jacquard-woven techniques;
• Leading design projects and special brand and artist collaborations;
• Researching and identifying fashion opportunities, details, finishes, and shapes to provide creative ideas for our product roadmap.

The ideal candidate has

• 4+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the luxury field;
• Wide technical knowledge and a great understanding of natural textiles;
• Knowledge about Jacquard-woven weaving techniques is a plus;
• Excellent eye for color, detail, and proportion;
• Proficiency in design skills to create visualizations (e.g., Adobe/ Adobe Illustrator);
• High level of awareness and knowledge of current and future trends;
• Strong grasp of sustainable fashion solutions and material innovation;
• Fluency in English (fluency in Dutch is not required but is a plus).

Please note that you would be expected to primarily work out of the Artipoppe office in Amsterdam, with few hours monthly at the Artipoppe office in Lexmond, the Netherlands.
