Key responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for managing large RI policy implementations, RI change initiatives and regulatory implementations in a complex environment:

- High proficiency required on the following competencies: Collaboration, Result-driven, Communication, Leadership, Stress resistance, Client Focused and Organizational Sensitivity
- Stakeholder management skills required at APG AM Board -1 level
- Execute the project plan and monitor progress (on time, scope and budget). Identify, manage and mitigate execution risks. This includes projects with a significant lead time and (client) exposure
- Effective communication and Presentation skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels.
-
Demonstrated success in coordinating and leading multidisciplinary project teams to achieve RI goals.
You will be based in Amsterdam at our office at Amsterdam Sloterdijk (Edge West), with the possibility to work from home a part of the week.
We ask for
- Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field;
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in the field of asset management with hands-on experience in managing projects in complex, large organizations;
- The project manager advocates cross-functional collaboration by establishing and leading multidisciplinary teams;
- A genuine passion for sustainability and a steadfast commitment to drive RI initiatives across the entire investment chain;
- You have a self-starting attitude and a pro-active, hands-on and pragmatic mindset with a strong delivery focus, and the right mind-set to be a long-term and responsible investor. You are a team player who can bridge different functional backgrounds and cultures;
- You are confident and comfortable presenting to management and can drive a project agenda, cutting through discussions of operational detail to synthesize an overriding delivery focus. You are able to challenge leadership and hold them accountable;
- You are deadline/delivery-driven with the ability to work effectively under pressure. You work in a very structured manner, including structured documentation and communication. You have a logical mindset and the ability to connect and align with both investment professionals from different asset classes as well as the large APG AM organization, including the IT department.
We offer you a competitive monthly salary based on 40-hours and attractive terms of employment with a focus on flexibility.
